ICOBOL

To run MC software, a ICOBOL runtime serial port security dongle device with the appropriate license is necessary (can also be licensed with the CPU ID number if no serial port is installed). This is available in 17,33, 65 or higher user count. Contact Mortgage Computer to purchase or upgrade the ICOBOL license.

Modems

100% Hayes compatible 28,800 baud or higher recommended.

Communication

WebEx or PCAnywhere by Symantec are the recommended and supported communication software. They allow remote diagnostics, support, training and transfer of files/programs over a modem or Internet connection. PCAnywhere is available for Win9x, Win NT and Win 2000 and allows connection for diagnostics or file transfer via a modem or network from a remote location. On a UNIX system with a PC connected using Telnet and TCP/IP for file transfer, SmarTerm Office 9.0 or higher recommended. This also works on PCs connected serially to a UNIX system.
